The Armed Security Guard secures the college campus and provides assistance to students, faculty and campus staff, particularly in the event of vandalism, trespassing, or an active shooter incident. In addition, this individual polices campus grounds, monitors campus security systems and equipment, and reports all unusual or hazardous conditions. He/She maintains the campus security both and assists campus visitors.
Security Guard

The Security Guard role at this learning institution is to patrol and police school grounds and ensure that buildings are secure. He/She monitors equipment and reports security related incidents to local authorities. In addition, this individual is responsible for logging personnel in and out of the work site, and reviewing emergency plans to ensure compliance with South Carolina law.
